thanks so much for your prompt reply and the great information...will take some sorting out.. given that the place of birth of James Amor was listed as "NY"? when if he is ours, it should read "England"...? I have 2 obits from Hamilton ON newspapers , where first, 1893 at death of father, James is listed as living in Minneapolis and in 1905 at death of his "wife', her son, George is living in Minneapolis..no mention of husband, James. how very strange indeed.
