    1. Re: [MNHEN] Fw: South Maple Grove Cemetery
    2. Claudia There are 2 cemeteries that have borne the name of Maple Grove. The Brooklyn & Maple Grove Union Cemetery, also known as the American Cemetery, is just south of Highway 81 and just west of Jefferson Highway. If I recall, my mother's uncle told me that his grandparents were buried in the South Maple Grove cemetery, and this is the one where I found them buried. BTW - this cemetery is connected to St Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, all enclosed within one fence, but they are 2 separate cemeteries. The other cemetery that has been called Maple Grove Cemetery is actually now known as Rush Creek Cemetery and it is on Territorial Road, north of Highway 81 and west of Elm Creek Park Reserve (probably 2-3 miles). So either one could be what is referred to, but I believe she would be looking for Brooklyn/Maple Grove. Jo In a message dated 7/5/2006 9:16:51 P.M.
