Patrick. Your post on family history interest me because of my research on MN Pioneers. Louis Robert built the first frame house in St. Paul and operated packet boats on MN River and was married to a member of the current Mendota Mdewakanton group - Mary Turpin. Francis McCoy was settler at Camp Coldwater and worked for Joe Brown and patented land in Washington County after living and building in St. Paul area.
