Elaine How do you know what cookies are the ones you want to keep? (Ancestry, etc.) Jeanne ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
Most of the protective cleaning programs, CCleaner that I use definitely does, show all the cookies accumulated that day. I allow all sites to set a cookie and then remove them at night (except for the ones I want to keep). You can make a decision about which ones you want to keep in the cleaning programs. They are pretty self-explanatory by name. I don't want to have to re-register at a lot of places, so cookies help make it easier for me to return to such websites. Those are the ones I keep. I might still need to confirm a login name at those websites, but they know it is me returning and that's fine with me. Some sites (Ancestry is one I believe) tell you right up front that cookies must be set.
