Iris, I have the 1902 Minneapolis City Directory and there's a Charles C. Henneman listed as, "Meats, 2501 24th Ave South. and 502 E 24th St. r. 2915 26th Ave S" So, if that sounds familiar, then he was still alive in 1902. I also have "Deaths Recorded in the Minneapolis City Directories, 1901-1910", but I didn't find Charles, or any Henneman/Hinneman/Hanneman or anything close in there either. Maybe he was missed. I'm assuming you checked the MN Death indexes online? http://www.mnhs.org/ Those deaths start at 1908. We have volunteers on the Hennepin site who will do city directory lookups at the History Center in St. Paul.
