Claudia, Thank you for your response to my look-up request. Jessie Carey was the divorced first wife of my deceased father-in-law, with whom she had a daughter born 1920 here in WA state. Daughter's name is unknown. Jessie was born CAN ca 1897 and her maiden name was "Doswell". I am mainly trying to locate her daughter--my husband's recently discovered half-sister. I am next going to try for Hennepin divorce records for Jessie and James Carey, 1920-25 for clues. I believe these can be searched by the office of the Director of Licensing at the Gov't Center in Minneapolis. Please correct me me if this is not the case. My sincere thanks for your help.
