I've "rescued" an old photograph of Anna or Anne RUE and Mamie OLSON of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The photograph was probably taken in the early 1900's with no studio name or location indicated. I would guess that the ladies were probably in their 20's at the time it was taken. In addition to their names, someone has written "Room Mates" on the back of the photograph. It appears that the names were originally written in pencil and later traced over in pen, though the original pencil writing appears to say "Anna" and the pen "Anne". They are dressed in identical lace trimmed dresses with bows in their hair suggesting to me that they belong to the same club or school group or work somewhere that requires matching attire. I'm hoping to locate someone from one of their families so that this lovely old photograph can be returned to them.
