Hello, listers-- My great-grandparents were Catholic, but I now believe that my gr-gr-grandparents who came from Germany & settled in NE Mpls. may have been "Evangelisch" which I guess would be Lutheran. My gr-gr-grandfather Nicholas Hohler sold "provisions & groceries" on Rollins St. according to the 1859-60 St. Anthony city directory. Can anyone tell me what Lutheran churches were in existence in St. Anthony in the 1850s & which might be the nearest to Rollins St.? Is it likely a Lutheran church at that time would have records on these folks? Thanks for any help. Marilyn
