    3. I picked up a book called "Remembering" by Clint & Dot Burnes published in 1987. It is a beautifully written book about growing up in Hennepin and Hopkins Countys, MN. It covers the Burnes, Headley, Diamon Family Trees along with Jonathan Elston: A Short Biography, one on George Montgomery Burnes and Benjamin Brown. There are many family pictures in this book. It is about 400 hundred pages. I am not related to any of these people. According to the back of the book a Benjamin Brown and family came to Minnesota from LA @ 1860. Also mentions there according to the author, " My Aunt Diana, Dad's sister, once told me we were descendants of the poet Robert Burns's family, that she had traced our family origin back to Scotland. I dont know what happened to her 1920 (?) research: at the time I wasnt particulary interested in family roots..............................that his family name was spelled both "Burnes" and "Burns".............probably descendants of one of a cousin's families of which there were several in the Glasgow area (if I remember corectly.)" There is also the Burnes's family tree chart and the Dimond Family tree chart. George M Burnes (1825-1870) married Amiia Cameron and comes forward (yes some John's) . George Baker married ? and hisfamily forward and his sister Mary Baker married Joseph Allen and her family forward. I hated the thought of this book being thrown away. If anyone has questions or would like to purchase this book please email me. I am asking $5.00 (what I paid for it) plus shipping. Carol
