Someone asked about Witt's Market in Minneapolis a while ago. I just found an article written in the Spring 1963 issue of the Hennepin County History magazine on Witt's Market. A nice article, and includes two photos. One of Alvin Witt and his nephew Bill. Also a photo of the front of the store taken in 1945 showing a crowd of people. The caption says " They lined up early the day Witt's held its great Buffalo sale". I'll be happy to copy and send if that person is still interested in it.
