I have waited as long as 8 months from several historical societies across the US for information. Few are this long- but I have learned I have to be patient and I will get it eventually. I am just grateful when a volunteer will help me out for a minimum of the cost and Sandy also will look up obituaries and the Historical Society doesn't offer that. Some of those obituaries are quite informative and give information I can't get anywhere else.
