    3. Claudia, I dont know what years Robert Camp worked for the Star Tribune, I just got a death certificate and it said that he was a Linotype for the Trubune. I was wondering if the tribune had archives that I could see if there was anything about Robert. I know that Robert married a Thelma dont know when, he died in 1973 and she died in 1983. I was hoping to find out any information on him or his family. 3. Good eveving, I am in need of advice as to where I might locate a naturalization record for Frank LUEDTKE who emigrated in 1866 at the age of two with his parents, Wilhelm/ William and Emilie [ Schumacher] LUEDTKE. Have found Frank and his family in the 1900, 1910;20 and 30 censuses Lakeview Township, Carver Co. Understand his farm bordered the Carver and Hennepin County lines. The 1920 census shows the year of naturalization as 1897 and the 1930 states ? 1871. Is there an index available? Appreciate any help. 3. Melodee - I grew up in NE Minneapolis and remember Central Avenue for sure. It is a long busy street with many businesses. Off the top of my head I can remember 3 drug stores on the corner of Lowery & Central. Can't remember their names though. There were other Drug stores on Central, but I would have to do some digging to find their names and locations. The 1929 Minneapolis City Directory would have all of them listed and that is where I would look if you need further info. The Minneapolis directories are at the Minneapolis Central library and the Minnesota History Center in St Paul. 2. Did you do a google or other search for the address for the Minneapolis Public Schools? The information you need should be available on the website. I also do a great deal of research for locations far from where I live. And I use Google.com many times every day to look up anything and everything. It is better to do your own research and bookmark websites you have an interest in then you will have them for future reference. I also use a alphabetical address book and write down the url so that if my computer crashes or my ISP changes and I lose my bookmarks, I have it written down for future reference. Sometimes it is easier to ask others to look things up which we can access ourselves online, but we don't really learn research techniques that way. Mind you, I am not chastising you, I am simply pointing out that research means looking things up and most every business, town, city, school, cemetery, mortuary, or whatever, has a website these days. I have learned things from them that I might not have learned if I just asked someone to look up a phone number and called or written to ask my one specific question. Just my thoughts Jo
