    3. Betty, I can't help you out with the marriage record, but I have a 1955 Minneapolis Phone Directory and found Rev. Donald Crawford living at 1546 E Minnehaha Parkway. Hopefully, some day we'll have a volunteer to do marriage record lookups at the county level, but you can write to the county directly and request one. This might be of help to you: Certified Copies-Hennepin County Marriage Records Information needed to obtain record: groom's name, bride's name before marriage and date of marriage. Records of marriages APPLIED FOR within Hennepin County on file from 1853 to the present. All marriage records prior to 1997 are "public" records. Records after 1997 contain some confidential information and must be partially restricted before public viewing. **A microfilm reader is available, by appointment only, at the downtown Government Center location for viewing of County marriage records by members of the public.** Certified copies can be purchased in person at all Hennepin County Service Centers. Copies can also be ordered via mail or fax. Payment for mail and fax orders may be made using Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Card. A $6.00 Service Fee is added per order. Express mail delivery is available at current postal rates. For Fax orders, please fax information to: "Attention: Vital Records Mail Desk" at (612)348-2010. In addition to the necessary information regarding the record being requested, please provide: name; address and daytime phone number of applicant; credit card type, number, expiration date and card holder's name; and indicate regular or express delivery mail. Fees: $8.00 for first copy, $2.00 for each additional copy of the same record, purchased at the same time.
