    1. [MNHENNEP] RAZWKETZKI
    2. We have found a new name, connected to our family, on an old birth record (1912). I would like a look up in a Minneapolis City Directory, about 1906-1909, for any entry for RAZWKETZKI, or a spelling close to that. If possible I could like that page copied and US Postal sent to me. If you are able to do that, please contact me personally and I will respond with my postal address. I do not live in Minnesota. Thanks If someone knows a better spelling, for what we read on the document, I would be interested in that. I have not found any person, with the above spelling, on a couple of search engines. 1. [MNHENNEP] Pillsbury Doughboy
    2. Karolyn Roberts
    3. Was thinking that the Pillsbury Doughboy originated in MN. If not, forgive me for passing this on, but it is an obit? Right? Karolyn Subject: Fw: Pillsbury Doughboy The Pillsbury Doughboy--Dead at 71 submitted by Pamela Lindenmut Veteran Pillsbury spokesman, the Pillsbury doughboy, died yesterday of a severe yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes to the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in one of the largest funeral ceremonies in recent years. Dozens of celebrities turned out including Mrs. Butterworth, the California Raisins, Hungary Jack, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, Capn Crunch, and many others. The graveside was piled high with flours as longtime friend, Aunt Jemima, delivered the eulogy, describing Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business but his later life was filled with many turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Still, even as a crusty old man, he was a roll model for millions. Doughboy is survived by his second wife, Play Dough. They have two children and one in the oven. The funeral was held at 3:50 for 20 minutes.

    2. Claudia, I tried the Earle Brown Heritage Center Site--I knew nothing about Earle Brown, so it was interesting to learn a little more. (I didn't realize he was such an important figure in Minneapolis & MN history.) I did e-mail them & got a very speedy response giving me several phone numbers for the Highway Patrol and the Brooklyn Historical Center. I'm not likely to call either of these from FL, but she also suggested the MN Historical Society & I guess I can do some more checking on their website. Thanks for your help! Marilyn

    3. Marilyn, There's an internet site "Earle Brown Heritage Center". Also, a book written about him, probably more than one. http://www.earlebrown.com/bfpage22.htm There's an e-mail address and they may be able to help you find more information. 3. Thank you Michelle. I don't write them either, but still takes time to get them on the site. The biographies are taken from county histories, obituaries and information submitted by descendants. So, again, letting everyone know to please send in your families if you would like them to be included on the biographies site. Thanks! 3. Yes, my brother wore them regularly in the 1940s. He was much opposed to them because we lived in the Midwest and all our men had gone to war in Army uniforms. My mother used to watch him and when he would get to the corner on the way to Kindergarten off would come the hat and on would go an Army hat hidden in his sailor middy. She finally gave up on dressing him in those marvelous suits but not before a few formal photographs were taken <smile>.
