Mary, Unfortunately, at this time we don't have a volunteer to do lookups at the Hennepin County level for Vital Records. However, information on obtaining birth, marriage and divorce records are here http://www.vitalrec.com/mn.html I hope this helps, Claudia Schuman - Coordinator http://www.rootsweb.com/~mnhennep/ http://hennbios.tripod.com/index.htm http://fdlbios.tripod.com/index.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~mnscott/index.htm ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2003 11:22 PM Subject: [MNHENNEP] Hello & Can You Help Me? Hello Folks, I'm new to the group and wanted to say hello. I was wondering if anyone could do a divorce look up for me, it took place in Hennepen County after October 20, 1970. That is when it was deferred from Morrison County for finalization. The man's name was Arlin John Frerich, and the woman's name was Clara Frerich. I don't know the date of the marriage or where the marriage occurred. I need to know when the divorce was granted, and the full name of the wife. Did she take back her previous married name, or did she keep the Frerich name? Where did both parties live at the time of the divorce? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, I've been looking for Clara since 1997. Thanks again and Happy Genealogy hunting. Mary Frerich PS To the Group Moderator: I'm sorry I forgot and just clicked on reply instead of typing the correct address into the send box.
what you ask is not easy. Google to Hennepin County Courts and perhaps you can call and sweet talk someone to pull-up on screen and get a file #, so the file can be retrieved from the bowels of the earth. Copies will cost a bunch of $$, because the files are thick. Happy Historical Trails, Robert P. Mosedale Bloodhound Research, P. A. [email protected]

Hello Michelle...I would really appreciate it if you would look up my grandfather. I can't seem to find when he and my great-grandmother came down from Quebec. I know he was born in Quebec. His name is Alphonse Joseph Talbot. They lived over Northeast, he was well known in the church of Out lLady of Lourds. He married Olivia Lieberg, Date? and they had three children, Leonard, Mildred and Arthur. Arthur died young but I don't know from what. I know there were more than just grandpa and great-grandmother. All I know about her is that here last name (I think) was Beaudoin. I don't know her first name, who she was married to etc. I hope you can help me. Thanks a million, Micki in Minnesota. According to written family history my Great-grandparents, Alfred DUFFY & Mary Ann LAMB were married 13 Oct. 1885 in Omaha, Douglas Co. Nebraska, but from my research, it seems possible they were married in Minneapolis before moving to Omaha. Is there a marriage index for that time period or does someone have access to one who would be willing to do a look-up for me? Any help greatly appreciated! Joanne, Salem, OR.
I just did that and my message came back to me. Any ideas why?
How do I unsubscribe?
Thank you for the info. Hopefully it works!

Well, Michelle when I first met handsome Joe Perron in the cemetery, he tried to tell me he was just a poor farm boy. Ha. My secretary of many years was a Burow who lived on Pilot Knob just down from the Acacia Cemetery - land that the Perron's owned. There was an aborted sale by Ellen (I think that was her name) to a historical Mason, but that deal failed; no more $$, then the Masons bought. The area across the road from the main cemetery and to the east is now the subject of a planned development. The City of Mendota Heights has received more than 300 comments from folks concerned about this project that would destroy a site sacred to the Dakota and important to all Minnesotans. You can look at City and Mendota Mdewakanton web site. Some of the Perrons have Mdewakanton relatives; it is in the census records, etc. The Dakota County web site is awesome and can take you to the plats too. I had done just the last name previously and had no problem, but did it again right now to make sure there was no change. Robert, Can you tell me what that controversy is?? I haven't heard anything about that. I come from a long line of Perron's and have been searching for many years. My last trip home I was able to find the Wheatland Township Cemetery. It was an awesome site that I was told no longer existed. I have 2 books that I would be willing to do lookups from. Lone Oak Years; A history of Eagan, Minnesota and The Perron's French-Canadian Pioneers of Minnesota Michelle
Here is one brick wall which is really plaster board. You need to know both the first name and last name of the person you are looking for when you check for a death certificate. Other wise you get a no person reply. Just the last name alone is not good enough. Bev Carlson, Minneapolis, Minnesota
Hi Robert, On land records Louisa said that her grandfather was Mazasha/Chief Red Iron and that she played as a child at Traverse Des Sioux when he signed the Treaty. Author Thomas Hugh`s said he thought this wasn`t true that Mary might be a sister of Red Iron`s. I would think Louisa would know who her own grandfather was, Hugh`s was writing many stories all over the country. I was told that these Chiefs had many wives before they became Christians. I don`t have any of there marriage records, but Louisa also said Father Ravoux baptized all these children. I have been trying to find these records and have been trying to contact the church`s. Thanks Patrick.
Hello, Michelle. Mendota is lousy with Perrons. In the cemetery and about. They have reunions too. They owned land at Pilot Knob that is now the center of much controversy. Happy Historical Trails, Robert P. Mosedale Bloodhound Research, P. A. [email protected]
