Please join me in welcoming two new members to the MNGenWeb family, Mary Alice Schwanke and Gayle Triller! Mary Alice is the coordinator of the IAGenWeb special Project, Iowa in the Civil War, so she will be using her web building experience in adopting Anoka county. Mary Alice actually lives in Anoka so lucky Anoka is going to get some serious attention. Welcome Mary Alice! Gayle is an experienced county coordinator for several sites in the USGenWeb project and will be putting that experience to good use by adopting Washington county, from whence her grandmother was born and raised. Welcome Gayle! In addition to these newest CCs, I wanted to let you all know that both Martha Crossley-Graham and myself have traded a county. In Martha's case she traded Wright County for Martin County where she has family ties and she already settled in. I, myself, traded Todd County for Scott County, when it became available. Scott County is where my family originally settled in Minnesota before removing to Stearns County and points west. I will be babysitting Todd until a new county coordinator can be found with actual ties to the county. It is most exciting to see fresh new faces, okay names, in the MNGenWeb project. We are moving forward and the sky is the limit for us all! Best Regards, Karen ASC MNGenWeb on behalf of the entire Leadership Team!

Thank you all for the warm welcome, I am happy to be part of a project in my home state, especially for the county I live in! I don't have any family ties to this county, or any that I am aware of, but I have big plans for the Anoka County site and hope to have a new look for the site up by the end of the weekend. Thank you again, MaryAlice Schwanke Anoka County Project Coordinator On Thu, Mar 12, 2015 at 2:52 PM, Karen De Groote via <[email protected]> wrote: > Please join me in welcoming two new members to the MNGenWeb family, > Mary Alice Schwanke and Gayle Triller! > > Mary Alice is the coordinator of the IAGenWeb special Project, Iowa in > the Civil War, so she will be using her web building experience in > adopting Anoka county.
