Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/iIB.2ACI/917.6.1.1 Message Board Post: The Fromdal's that settled in Columbia Co., Wis. are buried at Bonnet Prairie Cemetery, about 1 1/2 - 2 miles south of the village of Rio. Bonnet Prairie was one of the very early Norwegian Lutheran settlements in this area. Records for the oldest part of the original cemetery are missing. About 10 years ago I copied the information on the stones that remain and made a map of this section. The old Norwegian Lutheran church, just a short distance down the road, was damaged by fire a few years ago. The church has been enlarged a bit and is still in use after about 155 years. Hope this is of interest.
