It is on Hwy 22 off of Hwy 16 (if you locate Blue Earth and Albert Lea on Hwy 16 in southern MN---go directly between the 2 of them and find hwy 22 that run straight south into Kiester MN------the fur farm is about 2 miles south of 16 on hwy 22 on the west side of the road)-----------they did grow mink and maybe other animals for the fur. They also raised strawberries and sold to local stores---I picked strawberrires for a couple years. Hard work!!!! Their daughter ??? Matz married Don Frederickson from Wells, He owned a very nice jewelry store in Wells---and were looked up to as a family. I think Don's boy is maybe on the farm now. They have rebuilt the house and it is big and beautiful from the outside. MY mother actually worked at the mink farm skinning the mink----hard and yucky work. I hope this helps you out. I could do more research for you if you need----let me know Good luck Are you related to the family
