John Kopplin married Minnie Theresa Eberlien. The Blue Earth City Post Thursday, January 30, 1896 C. A. H. Kopplin recieved the sad news by telegram Saturday afternoon announcing the sudden death of his father at Wausau, Wisconsin. It was 11:30 in the forenoon when the dispatch was recieved and Mr. Kopplin and family got ready and took the 12:25 p.m. train prepared to attend the funeral. It was very short notice, and took lots of hustling on the part of Mrs. Kopplin.
