SAM 248 roll 116. It lists a John Conrad Ewald death as June 10, 1887 in Emerald Township at 86 years 6 months and 1 day old. That would make birth December 9, 1800. It lists him as a widower. Birth was in Germany, and for mother and father, it only lists Ewald. I didn't find a Blue Earth newspaper for that date, for an obit.
