I descend from John Joseph Pauly (1800 to ~1885) and Apollonia (Wurz) Pauly (1822 to ?), who moved to Barber Township from Johnsburg, Fond du Lac Co., WI prior to 1865. My g-g-grandmother is their daughter Margaret. Her marker at St. Mary Cemetery indicates she was born 5/5/1848, but baptismal record from WI indicates her sister Ann Margaret Pauly was born in Aug 1848, so both cannot be born in 1848. Also there is an Anton Pauly in this family with baptismal record in WI, but he does not appear in 1865 or 1875 MN State census with the Pauly family.
