Some members of the family stayed a very short time, before moving elsewhere. The 1880 census shows an Ole Gudahl age 39 and his wife Ellen age 36 living in Seely. THese may have been the first Gudahl's to come, encouraging others from the same family to immigrate. Any additional information would be appreciated.

I'm still looking for Nellie's brother,John Edgar's only son Allen Bush.He was a grocery..he was in Ladysmith,Wis when John Edgar died in 1911. He lived in MN., Wis. and Iowa. Would like more on his children. Also does anyone know if Vader G. VanSlyke is related to these people. He married a Clague and their daughter married a Lyman.
