Some members of the family stayed a very short time, before moving elsewhere. The 1880 census shows an Ole Gudahl age 39 and his wife Ellen age 36 living in Seely. THese may have been the first Gudahl's to come, encouraging others from the same family to immigrate. Any additional information would be appreciated.

My husband's great grandfather was Tollak Gaard. I understand his house is still standing in Elmore. It was across the alley from his son's Knute Gaard) . Knute's house was taken down.
