Alexander & his wife moved their family to Blue Earth Co., MN abt. 1887. I am trying to discover whether the girls used the surname Grandy or Hill. They would have been in their 20's in 1887. Did they marry in Faribault Co. or Blue Earth? Who did they marry? And when? Thanks in advance. Judy Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. His wife's name was Mary and residing with them was Mary Hurlbert, Mary Clayton's mother. Offspring were Hinkley, William, Lafayette, Mary P., Don, and Luis B. We know that Daniel still lived in 1900 and resided with a son, Louis or perhaps Bert Clayton. The Clayton Family was associated with the William Stephans family through marriage to a Stephans son and Mary P. Clayton. This Family in later years relocated to Sacramento, California.
