She had a sister that the family called Arie. Their father was George Bartlett, who I believe died young because his wife Elizabeth Bartlett then remarried someone else. My great grandmother Etta shared stories of coming west to Minnesota in a covered wagon, so I do not believe either George or Elizabeth were born in Minnesota. I believe George might of been the son of Dr. Josiah Bartlett...who's father was Ezra.. who's father Josiah signed the Declaration of Independence. At least that is what Etta shared with her grandaughter, my mother. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I have a lot of records already actually. Edward and Ellen lived in Winnebago, Faribault county in the early 1890s, then moved back to Martin county until Edward's death in 1909. Thereafter, I know Ellen moved in with her daughter Edith Bottomley, and her spouse William. I have BMD, cemetery, etc...I'm hoping to stumble upon someone, or a resource somewhere, that has photographs or any other information besides what i have already found. Ellen died in Winnebago in 1941. I've already combed the Muir Library in Faribault county, just hoping there is someone out there with more information on Edward, Ellen or any of their children. That is Violetta in the 1860 census in Freeborn County. I know I have checked out the death certificate at the Historical Society for the one you mention and it is not my Violetta. I have been unable to extract anything on Violetta from any obituaries of any brothers or sisters so far. I have been trying to find someone in California to find me obits on William and Wealthy Everett, but that has been difficult. I tracked a Viola Moore in the 1880 census from Mankato to Minneapolis to Montana in the 1930's and that too ended up not being my Violetta. I thank you for your help and I will continue my search. If there is anyone else out there that has some suggestions, I surely would appreciate them. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
