If you check the 1900 census (Faribault County, Barber Township), you will find her name listed as Margaret L. Kinsley. I presume that the L. is for Lorena. He came to America in 1861 and married Mary Ann Corcoran in 1873, daughter of Patick and Mary Corcoran. Mary Ann was born in Saugerties, New York in 1857. Mary Ann was only 16 years old when she married and they had 14 children. Mary Ann's sister, Elizabeth Corcoran is my connection. Moses had one of the finest apple orchards in the area. The article I have lists Alred marrying a Lorena Kingsley and Al's brother, Walter marrying a Eileen Kingsley. If you would like, send me your email and I can scan these biographys to you. They are quite lengthy. I have one on John Lutz, son of Kamil; Kamil Lutz, brother of Moses; and one on Moses Lutz. There is also a picture of Kamil Lutz on the page that I copied. I see that Jonathan Hagger probably got most of your questions answered, but if you'd like to speak to me or my mother, Caretha (who is 92) we'd be happy to chat. She is Carl Hagger' daughter. Mom is in a nursing home in Winnebago, MN, but is VERY alert and I always call her if I need info on the family. I've been trying to pull together information on the Haggers and have actually gotten back into old Norwegian documents and found 4 more generations past Lars Olson Grote Hegg. I didn't see Minneapolis Conservatory of Music, but a 1910 postcard of Minneapolis School of Music, Oratory and Dramatic Arts they have posted could be an earlier version of it. I searched 'Minneapolis Music School' which also shows MacPhail - if you have an address you may be able to find a relevant photo. In 1916 it was renamed the Twin City Conservatory of Music "The School for Earnest Students" and was located at 806 Nicollet Ave. in Minneapolis. She learned to play the piano and organ. Her name was Olivia Seuffert and she was a teenager at the time. If you should run across her name in the information your father gave you, I would be delighted to have you let me know. She did not got to college, so it may not be the same conservatory. Hope you find this helpful.
