Frank Dreis, of the Town of Vermillion, a man honored & respected by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance, is dead. Injuries received either from malice or other motives, caused his death. Twenty years' residence in the Town of Vermillion, by industry, economy & honesty, acquired for his family a nice competency in coming years, but his loss is irreparable in the town & community. All such grand men die early. He was aged about 45 years, & leaves a broken hearted wife - more than the term now implies - & seven children to mourn his untimely death. May God in His goodness bless all he leaves behind him, & sanctify his memory, so that his children whom he loved so well, will emulate his example, & become honored citizens of the great State of Minnesota. The bereaved widow & almost, orphaned children have the full sympathy of a Christian community. may God deal kindly with them in their sorrow.
