Talk about bringing back memories! Thanks, Michael, for posting this information about So. St. Paul High School in 1938. Although I was only 6 years old at the time, I recognize many names from the staff and faculty who were still there when I attended SSPHS in 1947 and 1949 (I was in Germany with my father in 1948 and moved to Texas in 1949 so I did not graduate from SSPHS). Also recognized many names of students, several who later became teachers at the high school. One in particular, Kathryn McAuliff, Class of '38, taught me History. Conrad Hinderks, Class of '38, was my best friend Joey Hinderks' older brother who was killed in action in Europe during WWII. I have vivid memories of being in the Hinderks home when the telegram arrived informing Mr. and Mrs. Hinderks of Connie's death.
