Surnames: Woodhouse, Milner, Miller Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UGB.2ACE/144.358.1.1 Message Board Post: The information I have on my great grandfather, William Woodhouse, is so sketchy that any of those names could be a connection. The information I have on William Woodhouse is that he was born in Wales or England in 1840 and that he died in St. Peter, Nicollet Co., MN, on 27 Nov. 1908 (I have a copy of his death certificate). His DC says that his father was John Woodhouse who was born in England but it does not have any information on his mother. I do know also that he married Mary Milner (Miller?) in England/Wales and they had a son, Ernest, while still living in England/Wales. They may also have had a daughter while there but then moved to Muskoka Co, Ontario, where my grandmother, Elizabeth Woodhouse, was born in 1876. My research in Canada has revealed absolutely nothing about this Woodhouse family. So, any information I get is a possible lead to finding William's origins. Thanks for the reply to my query.
