Any relation to Joseph Renshaw Brown or John Wesley Brown? have you checked the Census records? My Browns lived all aver what is now Wisconsin and Minnesota and married into influential families of the Dakota and Sisseton Sioux. In 1862, they lived near Mendota, MN and in Hastings. Later, descendants drifted toward St. Paul. I would especially like to locate the descendants of Christopher Carli Brown and Emma Ross. Sonja
