She was from the Pierz, MN Peine's. Matt was a brother to my great grand father, F.N.W. Schweich. They didn't have any children, but raised a boy named Jim Gernier. They never adopted him. They lived in Hastings, MN so probably are buried in the Catholic cemetery there. That parish is now named St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. I hope this helps. I have some more information about the Schweichs if you need it. Good Luck!

    3. I made an error in my referenced message: the old messages were posted to the Dakota Co., MN, message board, *not* the Wilde message board. That's what comes from trying to administer too many mailing lists! ;-) By the way, I solved my problem with the Klez virus message (remember I couldn't remove it from my mail inbox). I uninstalled Netscape 6! Just couldn't figure out any other way to do it. As regards bounced messages to subscribers of this mailing list: most of the bounces are caused by addressees who's mailbox is full and won't accept any further email. This has become an increasingly serious problem at rootsweb. If it continues to grow (I had three already today) then I'll consider removing the subscriber from the list who's email bounces because their mailbox is full. With summer approaching and many people planning vacations for a week or longer this problem can only get worse. Please, if you think you will be away for a few days or more, unsubscribe from the list until you return. That way we won't be getting bounced mail from your mail server saying that your inbox is full. Thanks, Tom Wilde Listmanager

    1. [MNDAKOTA] Old Messages in Digest#40
    2. Tom Wilde
    3. Those of you subscribed to the digest version of MNDAKOTA-L noticed that a lot of old messages were sent in digest #40. There is a problem at rootsweb and ancestry.com concerning lost messages that were posted to the Wilde Message Board at ancestry.com and then gatewayed to this mailing list. Am not sure whether the problem is cleared up yet but thought this might give a clue as to what is happening. Hopefully they will have it cleared up soon. Another subject: I received (as MNDAKOTA Listmanager) a message that was addressed to this list but did *not* make it to the list. The message contained a virus, the Worm Kleze. The rootsweb computer bounced it to me because they didn't want to post it to the list (this is normal procedure...I get a *lot* of bounces this way!). What I want to inform you of is that this worm 'supposedly' originated from the CAN-ONT-CARLETON-L Mailing List. I say supposedly because rootsweb mailing lists do *not* send out messages with viruses to other rootsweb mailing lists. So, I've got to figure out where it *really* came from. Just wanted to let you know in case you get a strange message from CAN-ONT-CARLETON-L when you're not subscribed to that list. Now, does anybody have an idea on how I can delete this worm message from my Netscape-6 Inbox? I've tried deleting it several different ways (including going into the hard drive and finding the file and deleting it) but it persists on staying in my in-box. I use Norton Systemworks which has quarantined the virus so it won't infect my computer but it is firmly lodged on the in-box of my mail program. Let me know if you have any ideas on how to dislodge it, short of using dynamite! ;-) Tom Wilde Listmanager
