I would think it would be interesting to do a study of several high schools to see how many young men and women who graduated from these schools from say 1938 to 1940 served in the military in this war and present it to a newspaper for their Veterns Day addition. John Weiland was first married to a Gergen. They had a daughter Anna that married John Fromm. After John's first wife passed away he married Margaretha (Thein) Becker. Margaretha had twin sons Eugene Becker and Peter Becker (her husband Phillippa passed away between 1860-1861)together John and Margaretha had 3 more children: Catherine, John and Mathias. I have in my records that John and Anna Fromm had a son Leo born on July 18, 1887. Did they have twins or do I have the first name incorrect? I have wedding pictures for John and Anna and I believe I also have photos of Leo.
