Johannes was born 3/3/1853 in Skede, Jönköping län (Småland) Sweden. His dad's name was Göran Jonas Johannesson and mom was Stina Maria Johannessdotter. My G-Gma's name in America was Helen Christine Johnson so I am thinking the family took the last name of Johnson at that time. All I know about Johannes is that he died prior to 1933 and had 6 children. My G-Gma's published obituary when she died in 1933 said her brother had died years before leaving her with 6 nieces and nephews living in Ironton, MN Any help would be very much appreciated.
