My grandmother is Cora DeLaittre Copper sister of Marion Rose Delaittre Orr. (1 if 2 Delaittre sisters who married Orr brothers) Cora met her husband Wesley Cooper when he came to visit his Orr cousins near Farm Lake, MN in 1901. Wesley's mother is Julia McKinley daughter of John and Maria McKinley. Henry & Maria McKinley were witnesses to Julia's marriage to Albert Cooper in 1872 in Prescott, Ontario. Grandpa Wesley also had a cousin John McKinley about his age who lived near him first in Enderlin, ND and later in Ransom Co. ND. John McKinley and his wife Alice are buried in Ray, ND. I have been trying to find the links between the Coopers, McKinleys, and Orrs. I would love to share information.
