    1. [MNCROWWI] Hathaway/Wadsworth Update...
    2. Hi all! ...I want to thank you all for all the wonderful suggestions and help. And I wanted to update you on what I've been able to find. :) ...Basically, from many different sources I've come up with a tentative family group, of who my great grandfather's family was: William Franklin "Frank" Hathaway (born: abt. 1850 in Indiana, died 1914 Crow Wing Co., MN) m. Alice L. Harris (born: July 1858 in Mellrose, Jackson Co., WI, died: ???) Their Children: - Mintie Maude - b. 26 sep 1880, Knapp, Dunn Co., WI, died: Aug. 1, 1966 Brainerd, MN. Source: Funeral records. Have sent for obituary. - Byron - b. 1882, MN? WI?, died: 1884, burried in Oakland Cem., Crow wing Co. (1900 census stated that one child of Alice's was not living. I found him buried near Frank hathway, I'm guessing is his father? - Jesse Gaylord - (my gr-grandfather, b. 28 June 1884/85, maybe Brainerd, or WI, died: Australia) - Abbie Lenora "Nora" - b. June 8, 1886, Brainerd, MN, died: ?? - May Algona - Aug. 28, 1888, Brainerd, MN, died: ?? - Irma A. - b. Dec. 1893, Brainerd, MN, died: Sept. 10, 1906 --------------------------------------------------------------------- ...Ok, this is my putting all the pieces together and think I've come up with his family... However, I don't have proof yet... ...Grandma remembered her Aunt Maude and Uncle Dave Wadsworth.. and I've found them through funeral records in Brainerd, and marriage records. I've sent for their obituaries at the Brainerd library. But so far nothing states that Jesse is a brother or anything like that. Her funeral records do state that Frank and Alice are her parents, so circumstantially I'm sure this is Jesse's family... but lack proof. ...I've sent away for Irma's obit. too... hoping it will give me a clue about the family... ...I was wondering, is there a MN census in between the Federal Census dates? Is there an 1895 census? Perhaps he would still be with the family then... he'd have been only about 10 years old then... ...Also, if Frank and Alice were divorced, where would that record be kept? They were divorced probably between 1893 and 1900. ...Well, I wanted to update you all, and see if you had any more wonderful suggestions for me? I was able to find so much from everything you told me before. Thanks again for all the help! :) Thank you for your patience with this newbie, Kristine ,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_ .-:*'``'*:-._,.-:*'``'*:-.,_ {\o/} John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten /_\ Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_ .-:*'``'*:-._,.-:*'``'*:-.,_
