Dixon. I am not certain of her name, however in her daughter's (Marth Jane DIXON CLELAND) obituary she is identified as Hannah RUPERT DIXON wife of Alexander Fairfield DIXON. A Northfield News (Northfield, Rice County, MN) death announcement on 13 May 1905 is as follows: Word was received here Saturday of the sudden death of Mrs. A. J. Dixon, which occurred at Brainerd, April 27. Mrs. Dixon was at one time a resident of this place. She leaves a family of grown children to mourn her loss, among them being Mrs. Frank Cleland of this place. Mrs. Frank CLELAND is my GG grandmother Martha Jane DIXON CLELAND born 14 Apr 1862 in Newington, Ontario, Canada who died 2 Sep 1942 in Danbury, Burnett County, WI and is buried in Groveland Cemetery (belongs to Holy Cross Episcopal Church), Dundas, Rice County, MN. I am unaware of any other children and I do not know why she was living in Brainerd. My family would appreciate any help possible. Thank you.
