Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TGB.2ACE/654 Message Board Post: Hello, Trying to determine if Dr. Wharton Little (born abt 1852 in new Brunswick, Canada) died in Crow Wing County just after 1900. He and his wife (Ida) and their new born child (Hazel) are found on the 1900 census in Wabusha County. I was just sent the obits for Ida and Hazel and it said that Hazel was born in Brainerd and that they moved to Hayward, Sawyer County, Wisconsin in 1907. Ida ended up remarrying (William Lyon) but I have not had much luck determining what happened to Wharton. NOTE: The Wharton Little that is found on the MHS Death Index site (died in 1921) is Wharton's son from his first marriage. Wharton Jr. was also a doctor - he is buried at Maiden Rock, Wisconsin. No mention of when/where his father died in the obit though. Regards, Jerry

The birth dates for the couple is the same as what I have for my grandparent-in-laws. The death date for Mary Elizabeth is the same as what I have for Mary Elizabeth. I have Mary Elizabeth married John Wesley Martin I was told that John Wesley Martin was a farmer and Circuit preacher. I haven't found anything on this couple, yet I found John Wesley Dingman which seems to go along with what I've been told about Martin. They have a son named Floyd Emery, my father-in-law was named Lester Emery, same ages. It appears from census that Dingman lived in Stearns Co., MN in 1900, my father-in-law was born in Stearns Co., MN. Does anyone know anything about a connection here?
