I've "rescued" a group of 11 photographs belonging to this group of families including the following: 1 - Edward MCTAGUE, about 4 years old 2 - Faye MCTAGUE, in her teens 3 - Edward and Faye MCTAGUE, taken 20 Dec 1911, Edward is 10 years and 11 months, Faye is 6 years and 5 months 4 - Faye MCTAGUE, an infant 5 - same as #4 6 - Faye and Edward MCTAGUE, about 3 to 6 years old 7 - Grandma BRAUER and her family, in her 60's with couple in their 40's, and girl about 6 years old 8 - Anthony MCKALE (my Dad); Aunt Mary MCTAGUE (Anthony's Sister); Aunt Elma BROWN (Uncle Claude's wife); Maude MCKALE (My Mother); Hattie MCTAGUE; and John MCTAGUE (Your Mother and Dad), taken early 1900's in outdoor setting 9 - Mimi BRAUER, in her teens or 20's 10 - Mimi BRAUER with infant, in her teens or 20's 11 - Group picnic photo taken in Cloquet, MN in August 1915 Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding these families: Edward Francis MCTAGUE was b. 16 Jan 1901 in Eau Claire, WI to parents John Edward MCTAGUE (1873-1935) and Hattie BRAUER (1883-1973). Edward was married to Marion MCTAGUE and died 7 Oct 1938 in Spokane, WA and is buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane. Faye Cecilia MCTAGUE was b. 2 Jul 1905 in Cloquet, MN to the same parents. Faye died 19 Sept 1997 with her last residence for Social Security listed as Seattle, Washington. She is buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane, WA. Anthony MCKALE was b. 20 Jun 1862 in Grenville, Quebec, Canada to parents Bartholomew "Bartley" MCKALE (1840-1932) and Margaret FINLAYSON (1836-1906). Anthony's 7 siblings are noted below along with information regarding his sister Mary Ellen MCKALE. Anthony first married Eliza or Elizabeth Ann LONSDALE (1863-1900) and together they had a son, William R. or B. MCKALE b. 1899. Anthony's second marriage was to Maude M. BROWN and together they had 2 children including, Annette C.; Gerome or Alvah Jerome MCKALE born between 1910 and 1913. Anthony died 21 Dec 1928 in Cloquet, MN. Faye's Father John Edward MCTAGUE was b. 15 Jun 1873 in Buckingham, Quebec, Canada to parents Bernard "Barney" or Charles Edward MCTAGUE or MCTEAGUE (1844-1878) and Bridget "Frances" CALLIGAN or COOLIGAN or CORRIGAN (b. 1851). John was one of 4 children born to this couple including, John Edward; James "Henry"; Bernard "Barney"; and Catherine Matilda MCTAGUE or MCTEAGUE. John died 10 May 1935 in Spokane, WA and is buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane. Her Mother Hattie BRAUER (daughter of Fred BRAUER and Mother NORMAN) was b. 3 Mar 1883 in Berlin, Germany and died 6 Aug 1973 in Seattle, WA. Hattie is also buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane, WA. Elma or Alma TOMS (1876-1913) was married to Claude J. BROWN b. 2 Jun 1876 in New York to parents Miles BROWN (1828-1878) and Annette "Nettie" Deletta GRIFFIN (1856-1906). Claude had three siblings, Maude; H. M.; and A. C. BROWN. Mary Ellen or Eleanore MCKALE was b. 5 Jun 1866 in Grenville, Argenteuil, Quebec, Canada to parents Bartholomew "Bartley" MCKALE (1840-1932) and Margaret FINLAYSON (1836-1906). Mary Ellen was one of 8 children born to this couple including, Anthony; Bridget Ann "Annie"; Mary Ellen; Thomas William; James Patrick; Catherine Jane "Kate"; Margaret "Maggie"; and John Bartholomew "Bartley" MCKALE, all born between 1862 and 1878. Mary Ellen married Joseph MCTAGUE (b. 1854) and together they had 4 children including, Leonard Owen; Richard Joseph; Eric Bartholomew; and Margaret Bernice or Bernice Margaret MCTAGUE all born between 1894 and 1903. Mary Ellen died 20 Nov 1946 in Cloquet, MN. I am hoping to locate someone from these families so that this wonderful group of photographs can be returned to the care of family.
