Johann married Rosalia GROBNER in Bohemia. He and his father Georg SOUKUP (who was unable to travel) were the only members of their family to stay in the "old country" the rest immigrating to America in 1870 and 1871. I am not sure if any of Johann descendants came to the US. Johann and Rosalia had 4 children: 1. Andreas Soukup who married Anna RUDOLPH their children were Katherine, Anna, Andrew, and Georg Soukup. 2. Barbara Soukup who married a SCHROPFER their children were Franz, Josef, Anna, and Barbara Schropfer. 3. Maria Soukup (born 11 Nov 1875) who married Josef RUBEY their children Georg (born 1901), Joseph Jr. (born 1905), Anna, and Franz (born 1912) Rubey 4. Anna Soukup (born 1876) who married Georg URBAN their children Anreas (born 1901), Joseph (born 1901), and John Urban.
