(MARION CO., OR) He was born in New Ulm,(BROWN CO.) Minn., graduated from Bible Institute of Los Angeles in 1934 and began his pastoring in Adna, Wash., in 1936. His last pastoring was in Lincoln City. (LINCOLN CO., OR) He retired in 1974 and moved to Salem. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and vegetable gardening. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, whom he married in 1934; sons, Dave of Gladstone, Tim of Salem, John of Eugene and Robert of Holden, Maine; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Salem Evangelical Church, where he was a member. Private interment will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens. Arrangements are by Restlawn Funeral Home.
