He and his wife isabel living in area in 1880s and had a large family including son Phillip. They are in 1880 census for Brown County. One document refers to town on Loreno, but does this town exist? Also, one birth certificate refers to Blue Earth so maybe they also lived near Blue Earth county. Would like to locate another resercher as this was a large family. Son Phillip and family moved on to Grand Forks ND and Long B each CA. Dear?? Sleepy Eye was known as the Village of Sleepy Eye Lake and then named Loreno for a very short time, about 1881. It was later incorporated into the city of Sleepy Eye. It is located in the center of Brown County. Sorry, I have nothing on Burgess family.
