He died in the indian wars and she married Peter Joseph Schmitz. Her mother Maria lived at her at one time. Maria was born in 1800 and died 1875. Ernestines father may have been named Heinrich, but I am not sure. I am wondering is she had any siblings? Actually, I used the "Surname Summary Report" in the LEGACY program as the base ... then "modified" it and put it into the order sent to the MNBrown and MNNicollet lists The actual report ... as it's formatted ... would require 11 or 12 pages ...
