I wish I could remember exactly how I got the book. I am not related to the person who posted the question about the Leona Hotel, but my parents grew up in the New Ulm area--my mother being a Dietz and my father being a Gulden. As a child, I lived for about 3 years in the New Ulm area and many of the family names in the book are familiar to me, and a number of them are distantly related. The book was printed by: Crow River Press, Inc., PO Box 99, 170 Shady Ridge Road, Hutchinson, MN 55350 and is copyrighted 2000. I know that it wasn't very expensive, though I do not remember how much I paid for it. I doubt it was more than $15. Perhaps if you write to the address above, you may be able to learn where a copy can be obtained. Upon paging through the book, I found another picture of a hotel called the "Hotel Smalley", Sleepy Eye, MNN Jan 29, 09. But there was no other information given about it.
