MARY GOBLIRSCH Mrs. Mary Goblirsch, 90, of 418 N. Jefferson, died Friday at her home following an illness of three weeks. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church in New Ulm with burial at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm 3 to 9 p.m. today and Monday from 8 until the time of services. A Parish Rosery will be Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born Dec. 10, 1879 in Milford Township to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Seifert. She married Joseph Goblirsch May 30, 1899 at St. George Catholic Church. He died May 14, 1942. She is survived by one son, Raymond, of New Ulm, and four daughters, Mrs. Sophie Ganske of Hewitt, Miss Mildred Goblirsch of Minneapolis, Mrs. Clarence (Hildegard) Hauser of Lafayette, and Mrs. Helen Zupfer of Waukesha, Wis. There are 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Following her marrriage they moved to Lafayette and then to Cottonwood Township. She then lived in New Ulm the past three years. Mrs. Goblirsch has been well-known in the area for raising, preparing, and selling horseradish for 20 years.
