He was married to Christina Grant, who emigrated from Denmark in 1900 and died ca. 1958. They had three sons: Grant William ("Dode"), Richard, and Edward ("Bud"). Hope to find some cousins up there!

Carl and Caroline Karnolz were in Springfield township, they spelled the last name as Karlmalz on the name index for the 1900 census. If you would like me to email you the 1900 census images for both couples, email me off list, will be more than happy to do so. Pat

If ya know the cemetery your looken for post here maybe someone will know where its at. All some cemeteries change names through the years which makes it harder or cemeteries share locations. An example of this is I was looken for Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Springfield. Wasnt haven any luck. Asking a relative in the are and they wherent sure, but knew of some cemeteries north of town. I took a look and finially found it. It was basicly combined with St Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
