I've "rescued" and old photograph of Van BRIGGS with Ellen STALLCOP and Donnie BRIGGS which was taken in 1913 "At Tyler's" with the three all appearing to be in their 20's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding those pictured in the photograph: Van Frank BRIGGS was b. 1890 in South Dakota to parents Frank James BRIGGS (1858-1934) and Anna Elza or Eliza VAN SICKLE or VANSICKLE (b. 1862 or 1863) who were married in Houston, MN on 20 Dec 1885. The couple had 5 children including, Evalina "Eva" Hulda; Van Frank; Donna "Donnie" Anna; Bessie Zuleme or G. or Y. or E.; Hazel Fern BRIGGS, all born between 1887 and 1898. Van died in 1960 and is buried in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca, MN. Donna "Donnie" Anna BRIGGS was b. 2 May 1893 in Onamia or Blue Earth, MN to the same parents and married Howard Russell BAKER (1893-1960) on 30 Jun 1920 in Onamia, MN and together they had four children including, Robert Russell; Roberta Anna; Lois Elaine; and William Howard BAKER, all born between 1920 and 1926. Donnie died 26 Oct 1978 in Minneapolis, MN and is buried in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Ellen Anjanette STALLCOP was b. 7 Apr 1887 in Northfield, MN to parents Octavo William STALLCOP (1857-1928) and Carrie Laverne WARD (1864-1920). Ellen had at two siblings including, Stephen William STALLCOP (1884-1949) and Clifford Ward STALLCOP (1889-1960). Ellen married Van Frank BRIGGS (1890-1960) and together they had at least two children including Burton Stallcop BRIGGS (1916-1945) and Ronald Vance BRIGGS (1920-1985). Ellen died 5 Aug 1947 in Mille Lacs, MN and is buried in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca, MN. I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
