If you have information that may connect me with the right James Wilson, I would very much appreciate it. I have looked so many places to find proof of Freeman's father--to no avail. There are other Wilson families in the very same vicinity in 1830. Names like Thomas, Alpheaus, Isaac. No one lists a Freeman. Sometimes I have wondered if this was a middle name.
