I found Edwin (Edward) M Meaney in the Melrose, Stearns County, MN 1900 US Census, age 21 married to Elizabeth age 22. married for 2 years; with one living child; however the name of the child was not listed. Edwin was a rail road breakman, renting a home. He had worked for the rail road for 3 yrs. I was not able to locate newspaper archives on line. Maybe the historical societies of either Stearns or Blue Earth County can be of assistance.
