It was at the corner of Front St. And Main St. next to the old Standard station just before the RR tracks and North Mankato Bridge. My best friends brother was the one that dumped the red paint on the stone monument thinking he was part Indian. After the Viet Nam protests in the late 60's people were a little spooky of genocide as a whole and it was spirited off in the night by the city and is said to be buried in Sibley Park.
