The Library of Congress website is searchable and has many old Minnesota records, including Minneapolis newspapers up to 1922. Unfortunately, the Library of Congress website is down today and I can't search for the hanging photo(s). A Google images search for Mankato Sioux Hanging brings up many drawings and some photos.
