He had a merchant store (Farms Exchange Store) near the ravine named after him...Wardlaw's Ravine. I don't think the ravine is called Wardlaw's ravine today, but I'm wondering if anyone knows approximately where the ravine is. I'm also interested in learning where the store was exactly. Another resource I found says Robert Wardlaw had a store in the Wardlaw building in 1854-5 on Lot 1, Block 6. (Uriah Karmony was a clerk there that winter). I don't know if the building(s) are one in the same or what. Robert Wardlaw eventually quit his store and got into the lime business...living in Lime township. Thank you for any help you can provide!
